Harwinder Sandhu is an MLA, a community activist, and a longtime Vernon resident. Born to a farm family, and having lived in rural communities across BC, she understands the needs of those communities. As a healthcare worker for over two decades, and as a mother of three, she knows deeply what it means to have a government that is committed to investing in, and strengthening, public healthcare, housing, public and post secondary education, affordable childcare, and the other vital services BC families rely on, as well as taking action to address climate change.
Harwinder’s commitment to public service is inspired by her own personal experience of overcoming hardship. She knows how hard it can be to make ends meet and get by. After being left widowed with 2 toddlers, the experience of being a single, working mother required all her strength. She is a proud mother of three and is inspired by her children every day, both of her daughters are also working in healthcare, and making a difference by helping people in need!
We’re building a BC where you don’t just get by, you get ahead — and we won’t stop until the job is done.
Love making phone calls and talking to people? Are your thumbs ready to text? Do you have a lawn that would look great with one of our signs? We’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for supporting Harwinder Sandhu and David Eby’s BC team. Let’s keep moving BC forward — for all of us.
